Spring Style: Palazzo Pants

Written and photographed by: Madison Paloski

There’s nothing like warm spring days after a long, Boston winter. Naturally, we’ve all pulled out our warm weather clothes and have plenty of cute outfits planned for the  next sunny days. One summer statement piece that’s bound to turn heads are palazzo pants.  These bohemian, wide-leg pants are light, airy, and perfect for any spring or summer outfit.

What’s great about these pants is that they come in an assortment of colors, patterns, and cuts.  These red, orange, and blue palazzo pants are high-waisted and bell- bottomed, adding even more oomph to the boho look.  These busy, printed pants pair perfectly with nude slides and a classic white cropped tank.

Vertical striped pants can work wonders for anyone’s body.  They easily make your legs look super thin and super long.  This specific pair of pants are mid-rise, with a belt that ties into a cute little statement bow.  A classic white crop top was paired again, keeping the focus on the pants.

Off the shoulder tops are another hot trend that continue to be seen everywhere this season. Pairing these two trends creates the ultimate boho look! The muted pale pink and black pants could have easily been worn with a colored top, but we chose to stick to the basics.

But wait–Palazzo pants don’t have to just be loose and flowy!  These comfy pants can also be styled like joggers, cinched at the ankles and waist.  These basic black and white printed pants could go with just about any color top, so we chose to go with army green. The earthy color is usually reserved for fall and winter months, but that’s all the more reason to wear it in spring in place of pastels!

With so many prints, patterns, colors, and cuts to choose from, the palazzo pant options are seemingly endless.
