As a vegan (and a lover of all things food-related), sometimes it can be difficult to find quality and delicious food that I can actually consume on a daily basis. Luckily, Boston is one of the few cities that is filled with an endless amount of vegan and vegetarian spots! One of my favorite go-to vegan places is a little juice and food bar known as Cocobeet. The acai bowls are out of this world!

Located right outside of Government Center Station, Cocobeet has quickly become the highest rated juice house that is 100% plant-based, on this side of the Charles! Yelp’s Boston Top 50 even ranked Cocobeet number 12 on their list- which is fairly high considering just how many restaurants and food chains Boston has to offer. Cocobeet’s whole appeal is that their juices and foods are made with only the purest ingredients that are created without any processing or harmful chemicals. One bite of anything off of the menu and you’ll instantly taste the freshness and care that goes into each ingredient, not to mention that you’ll feel absolutely amazing and ready to conquer the day!Screen Shot 2017-10-29 at 5.11.36 PM

As soon as you open the door to Cocobeet, you are instantly hit with white fluorescent lights and the sweet smell of fresh berries. You’ll then notice just how small the space is. There’s probably only about 7 feet between your spot at the front door and the cashier who is happily ready to take your order. You have the option to either simply grab one of the ready-to-go juices and sandwiches from the fridge, or order one of the seasonal options off of the menus displayed on the TVs behind the counter. The Vegan Mac n Cheese is one of Cocobeet’s seasonal options that I impatiently wait to be released every autumn-it is definitely worth the wait.

If you are a sucker for a good smoothie bowl and attracted to anything with the word “green” in it, this smoothie bowl is for you! Not only is this smoothie bowl packed with all the good stuff like kale, spinach, avocado, berries, and various nuts- but it is so eye-catching that you won’t even want to eat it without taking a picture first. I swear that my entire camera roll consists of shots of this smoothie bowl in various locations and from way too many angles. This delicious bowl is also very true to its name with the word “energy” in it. You won’t even need a coffee to start your day with a kick!

Next time you’re traveling to Boston trying to be healthy for a day and want food that makes you feel good, give Cocobeet a chance. You won’t regret it!
